AT DAYTON: Walton played in nine games (starting eight) in 2005. He was credited 36 tackles (19 solo) and was second for the Flyers in interceptions with three. In 2004, he played in all 10 games and was in on 27 tackles (19 solo). He also batted down three passes, had two hits behind the line and recovered a fumble. One of three Flyers to letter as freshmen in 2003, he played in 10 games, had 12 tackles (6 solo) batted one pass away. He is a three-time member of the Pioneer Football League Honor Roll. PERSONAL: Son of Eugene and Jill Battisti...Born on June 28, 1984...Majoring in Finance/Marketing...Walton was team captain, MVP, First Team All-Central Ohio and Honorable Mention All-Ohio for Hilliard Darby High School. He was the MVP of the Columbus area All-Star game. Walton also played centerfield for the baseball team. |
