AT DAYTON: Wade came into the 2007 season slated to start at running back for the Flyers, but knee injury suffered in the pre-season sent him to the sidelines for the year. After rehabbing the knee, he moved to slot receiver last spring and is currently listed behind Justin MIllio on the depth. Wade had a solid finish to the 2006 season. He came on in the last five games of 2006, with 23 carries for 81 yards, and two receptions for 31 yards. In 2005, Wade appeared in three games and had three carries for a total of 18 yards.

PERSONAL: Son of Lisa Jefferson and Chris Green...Born on October 30, 1985...Majoring in Communication Management and Sociology... Wade was the career rushing leader for Bloomington High School and his football conference, gaining over 4,300 yards rushing. He averaged 8.3 yards a carry and scored 37 touchdowns. He was an Illinois Coaches Association Class 6A All-State selection, and two-time first team all-conference and all-area. He was team captain in football and track. He ran a 10.7 100 meters as a senior. He also played basketball.
