AT DAYTON: Mroczek earned his second letter in 2005 starting in all 10 games. He was named UD's Most Improved Player in 2004 after moving into the starting lineup and performing well at left guard. He started seven games in 2004 before a knee injury put him out of commission. Before moving into the starting lineup, he played in three games in 2003, and played in one game as a freshman. Mroczek was named First Team All-PFL in 2005. He was also named First Team I-AA Mid-Major All-America by Sports Network and Second Team I-AA Mid-Major All-America by Football Gazette. PERSONAL: Son of Edward and Dorothy Mroczek...Born on October 21, 1983...Majoring in Mechanical Engineering...At Penn High, he was a three-year letterman and second team all-conference in football. As a junior starter, his team won the State Championship. He also lettered in both baseball and track. |
