AT DAYTON: Kohstall had one punt return for a touchdown. He also had 10 tackles, four for a loss, two and a half sacks and one fumble recovered while playing in all 12 games last season. Kohstall earned his third letter in 2006 when he played in eight games and had 10 hits (3 solo). Kohstall had seven hits and a sack in the Red & Blue game. He moved to defensive end in 2005 after playing fullback his first two seasons at UD. He saw action in six games and had 12 tackles (three solo). Kohstall earned his first letter in 2004 by playing in seven games, getting four special teams tackles and forcing a fumble. He also carried the ball 11 times for 41 yards. PERSONAL: Son of David and Ruth Kohstall...Born on March 11, 1985...Majoring in Political Science...He was team captain, first team all-conference and all-county at Cedarville High School. He was top five in the state in the discus. His older brother, Chuck was a two-time All-PFL linebacker in the late 1990's for UD. |
