At Dayton:
Horcher played in 11 games during the 2008 season and only started seven due to injury. As a junior he tallied 30 tackles, one interception, one fumble recovery and 11 passes defended. As a sophmore, Horcher earned his second letter after starting all 12 games. He entered his junior season with 19 starts already under his belt. He was sixth on the team in tackles, recording 53 for the season. He had two interceptions for 82 yards and five pass breakups. Horcher was thrown into the fire as a freshman when he was inserted into the starting lineup to replace injured All-America cornerback Casey Klaus. Horcher started the last seven games of the season, and was credited with 27 tackles (14 solo). His three interceptions tied Brandon Cramer for the most on the team, and his four passes batted down tied John Hoppe for team honors. He was the only freshman to letter in 2006, and was a member of the 2006 PFL Academic Honor Roll.
