Gooding returns as the Flyer punter after a debut season where less than a third of his punts were returned. Gooding took over for graduated seniors Jeff Fallis and Matt Yunker in 2003, and punted 41 times for a 37.2 yards-per-punt average. Only 12 of those punts were returned for just 5.8 yards a return. Thirteen of his punts were downed inside the 20, and ten others were fair caught. Only three went into the end zone for a touchback. He was Second Team All-PFL.
