AT DAYTON:
Fumagalli moved into the lead linebacker role, previously filled by Brian Kelly, for the 2008 season. He started in all nine games he played, tallying 36 tackles (21 of which were unassisted) and one sack. In 2007, Fumagalli had 48 tackles and was second on the team with two QB hurries. He also had one sack, three tackles for a loss, and one forced fumble. He played in nine games in 2006 as UD's third linebacker, and was credited with nine tackles. He did not play in any games in 2005. His brother Ross, a sophomore, backed him up in the 2008 season. Drew is a member of the 2008 PFL Academic Honor Roll.

Son of Doug and Char Fumagalli...Born on June 3, 1987...Has two brothers, Troy and Flyer teammate Ross....Majoring in Business Marketing and Finance...Was named all-conference as a junior and senior in both football and baseball. A member of the National Honor Society, he was also named academic all-conference.
