Anthony Davis brings 17 years of football coaching experience under his belt, coaching defensive line, offensive line, secondary, and special teams. Now entering his tenth season with the Flyers, Davis is in his second year of having the responsibilities of UD's running backs coach after spending his first eight on the Hilltop on the defensive side of the ball. His most recent stop before coming to Dayton was Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, where he was the defensive line coach and special teams coach for one season. Before starting his coaching career Davis spent five years as a Communication Electronic Officer for the U.S. Army, last serving at Ft. Campbell, Ky., home of the 101st Airborne Division. He played offensive and defensive line for four years at Union College (Ky.), where he graduated in 1989 with a degree in business administration. He received his master's in education from UD in 2003. Anthony lives in Trotwood, and works for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Dayton. |
