AT DAYTON:
After a great spring, Collins was expected to see plenty of time at slot receiver for the 2008 season. He participated in all 12 games, starting two for the Flyers. He ranked third on the team in receiving, grabbing 33 passes for a total of 482 yards and three touchdowns. His game-high two touchdown receptions were scored on home turf against Valparaiso. Collins recorded a game-high 141 yards receiving on the road against Jacksonville. He played in five games during the 2007 season and caught four passes for a total of six yards. Collins redshirted the 2006 season.

Son of Tony Bakale and Kathy Collins....Born on August 6, 1987....Majoring in Business Accounting at UD... Collins was a first team all-conference and all-district performer for the football team at Padua Franciscan. He was also named First Team All-Northeast Ohio and received All-State Honorable Mention recognition. Away from the gridiron, Collins captained the basketball team and was a first team all-conference, second team all-district performer on the hardwood. He was also a first-team all-conference and second team all-district pick in track.
