AT DAYTON: After redshirting the 2006 season, Burger earned a letter by playing in all 12 of the Flyer's games. Burger added 22 tackles to his resume at Dayton. He recorded 8 sacks for a total of 53 yards. In 2006 he was named UD's Defensive Scout Team Defensive Player of the Year. After proving himself in the fall and a strong spring practice season, is listed behind senior Scott Vossler on the pre-season two-deep. He was a member of the 2006 PFL Academic Honor Roll.

PERSONAL: Burger was a team captain at La Salle as a senior, and played end on defense and tackle and fullback on offense. He was the only underclass offensive starter when La Salle went to the 2004 OHSAA playoffs. He plans on studying Pre-Med at UD. His father, Robert is a team physician for Xavier University.
