The Dayton Flyers men's basketball team will have 17 televised games during the 2008-09 regular season. Flyer games will be shown locally on WHIO-TV, regionally through CBS College Sports and nationally on ESPN and CBS College Sports.
Nine of the 17 telecasts are away from UD Arena with the first broadcast at the 2008 Chicago Invitational Challenge when the Flyers battle the preseason Top 20 Marquette Golden Eagles on Saturday, Nov. 29.
"This increase in our television coverage of our road games would not have been possible without the efforts of Vice President and General Manager Harry Delaney and his staff at WHIO-TV," UD Vice-President & Director of Athletics Ted Kissell said. "WHIO-TV is a great partner of the University of Dayton, and thanks to them Flyer fans are able to view key road games throughout the season."
UD's marquee televised road games include the Marquette clash, the Wednesday, Dec. 10 contest at Creighton and key Atlantic 10 road games at Massachusetts, Charlotte, Saint Louis, Rhode Island and the ESPN nationally-televised contest at Xavier.
The times of three road games have been established. The Saturday, Jan. 10 contest against Massachusetts will begin at 1 p.m. ET. On Sunday, Feb. 8 at Charlotte the contest will tipoff at 1 p.m. ET. The Saint Louis road game on Saturday, Feb. 21 is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.
All Flyer home games, not nationally televised, can be viewed via live video stream for free on daytonflyers.com. Fans can follow the Flyers online all season long by signing up for a free account to Dayton All-Access.

Go to the men's basketball schedule page and on the next event banner click the graphic says "Watch."
Sign in to the Dayton All-Access package. To watch Flyers home games for free, you will need to create an account with CSTV. There is no charge to create an account.
Once you are logged in, select the game you want to watch live.
Users must have the Windows Media Player to watch the Flyers on the Internet. If you don't already have the software when promted click to download the free Windows Media Player.
