FANS REWARDED WITH THE FREQUENT FLYER FAITHFUL PROGRAM

The University of Dayton Division of Athletics would like to thank all of the 2008-09 Frequent Flyer Faithful participants. The Flyers appreciate your support and hope you enjoyed sharing the season with us. Roughly 6,000 season tickets were utilized for at least 15 of the 18 University of Dayton Flyer's regular season men's basketball home games. Each of these season tickets were automatically entered into the Frequent Flyer Faithful prize drawing and given a chance to win one of over 65 prizes, including free season tickets, VIP game packages, and much more. Winners have already been contacted and given instructions on how to claim prizes. The Grand Prize drawing was reserved for all season tickets utilized during 100 percent of the UD regular season home games. Every ticket scanned for each of these 18 games was automatically entered with a chance to win a Charter Trip for Two with airfare, hotel, meals and tickets included. The University of Dayton finished in the Top 30 in men's basketball attendance for the 12th straight season in 2008-09, according to a report by the NCAA released in May. The Flyers finished 27th in the NCAA in attendance for the second straight season with an average of 12,765 fans a game (up 294 from a year ago). Since UD Arena opened in 1969, Dayton has been in the NCAA`s top 35 in attendance every season. Last year, UD was 18-0 for the first time in Arena history, and Dayton set a record for regular season total attendance, drawing 229,768 members of the Flyer Faithful to UD Arena.
