Produced by Promedia Adrenaline, the commercial was the first ever submission by UD for award consideration by NACMA. The 30-second spot featured head coach Brian Gregory and members of the 2007-08 Flyer squad.

The commercial played a big part in Dayton's attendance success last season. Dayton finished in the Top 30 in men's basketball attendance for the 11th straight season in 2007-08, according to a report by the NCAA.

In 2007-08 Dayton also had the second-best average home attendance in school history at 12,479 and tallied seven sellouts during the season, just one short of the UD Arena record.

Initiated in 2003, the NACMA Awards program honors outstanding achievement in marketing and promotions. Awards are presented in 18 categories, with each category divided into three groups based upon school size and conference affiliations to promote fairness. A total of 1,300 entries were received for the 2007-08 year.

The Flyer marketing department's areas of focus include corporate sponsorships, ticket promotions, DaytonFlyers.com, game-day atmosphere, promotions and the Red Scare, which is UD's student fan group.
