"We did a good job defensively today, not just with the pressure, but with our help defense as well. We picked up more charges today than any other game we have played this season."

"Charles (Little) was tremendous defensively. He was aggressive. He played well. He's been practicing well. When you practice well, you play well."

"It was good to get everyone 13 or more minutes. We tried to get some guys who haven't played as much some more minutes. I thought it was a solid team effort. Seventeen assists, we shared the ball well and shot well from the line today."

"I thought we did a good job forcing 21 turnovers and holding them to 24 percent shooting. I think we've picked up more charges today, and that's good. We had some guys put their bodies in front of some hard charges. We did better on the glass. But I know what's coming down the line and we need to do a much better job."

"Offensively, there were times when we played at the pace want to play at and not hurry, but there are times that we didn't. It's something we need to work on. We are constantly doing a better job at the line."

"I was a little worried because he (Chris Johnson) tweaked his ankle in the last game but he came back yesterday and was pretty good. He's a very skilled and talented offensive player. He's starting to understand what we need him to do offensively, but he's also good defensively. As a freshman, he's picked up things pretty quickly. He has a natural feel for the game. His effort has been great."

"What I liked about Marcus (Johnson) is that he was aggressive on the court, made plays off the dribble."

"You may not have heard of Mercer, but we know how good they are going to be. We have a one day prep. Our guys have to do a good job of getting as much information in as they can. We have to go out there and compete. By far, Mercer is the best team we will play so far. They will push the ball. They are veteran team that has a dynamic point guard."

"We got off to a real good start. They came at us with an aggressive press and we got back at it."

"My teammates did a great job of getting me the ball. I made plays. We just had to stay aggressive. We shared the ball well and created shots for others."

"We're going to be real busy and it's tough. We are just going to have to take it one game at a time."

"You just have to come back and play your hardest. Forget about the last game and come ready to play this game. Whether it's practice or a game, you have to come in and play your hardest."

"We just want to get better and do some things out there that we have to improve on. We did a good job and we have to be back and ready to go on Tuesday."

"I felt comfortable playing. Our team has one engine to it and that got me involved. I just brought my engine to the team and kept playing hard and working hard."

"It takes my team to bring the energy and coming off the bench I have to bring that same energy. It's our starters that start us off."

"We aren't going to take too much momentum. We'll celebrate for 10 minutes and come back and get right back at it against Mercer on Tuesday."
