Head Coach Brian Gregory
"This game was a great test for us. Again, I think its one of the best things the NCAA has ever done allowing us to play games like this. Gannon is an NCAA caliber team. They could easily play in a lot of Division I leagues across the country and be very good. We had to play well to win. I thought we played well and we did win."

"Our rotations, our drives were much better, and our full court pressure. I wasn't as pleased with our defensive rebounding in the first half. I thought we did a better job in the second half."

"The way we played the first three or four minutes in the second half is how we want to play continually. When those guys observe that energy, then the next rotation can continue that."

"Our defense in the second half really turned things up. I was really pleased to see those rotations; I think they were as good as we have ever had. Our job with the rotations is to wear people down. It was good to see the two new point guards. To see what it was like with them in command."

"Chris Johnson, Luke Fabrizius, and Paul Williams, those three freshmen played extremely well in a challenging game. Luke took good shots, had some rebounds. He's going to get better with every game."

"We need to tighten up some things in terms of execution of offense. You can't win games with 20 turnovers. Wofford is a team that had a pretty good season last year. They went into Purdue last year and beat them."

"I tell the guys we either get better or we lose ground. We need to get better."

"London (Warren) did some cardio today, a lot of stationary ball handling, a lot of rehab. He'll be back Friday and Saturday for practice."

"We might be a little better defensively than last year. It's hard to tell because an important piece of the machine wasn't out there with us tonight. I think this team is going to have a steady increase of improvement during the year, if they keep working. It's a team that could be really good at the end of the year."

Luke Fabrizius
"I give a lot of credit to my teammates. My teammates got me the ball and I took my shots. I give them all of the credit. They drove and I was open."

"We just have to keep working hard and keep working defensively. That's the most important thing. We have to work on that defense. That's the only way to get playing time."

"It's awesome and it feels great. It's exciting to play in front of a crowd this big. It's exciting and gives us that added energy."

"Coach says if you get an open shot, take it. We are working hard and we made some good strides today. We've been going after it in practice and we'll be good."

Chris Johnson
"It feels great. It's my first time starting and I wanted to make a good first impression to the crowd. I just want to continue to work hard and bring energy to the team. I think everything went well. We just played hard and we just got it done."

"I'm good at rebounding on the offensive board. Coach tells me to keep on hustling, especially on the offensive end, to get the rebounds."

Chris Wright
"After last week's game, we just wanted to come out and pick up the intensity on defense. We picked up the intensity in practice and have a different concentration level. Our defense creates our offense and that's what we wanted to do tonight. We wanted to have the energy to crash the boards hard. You have to worry about the moment and locking in to that man while you are in front of him."

"The blocks are about being in the right position. If I'm hugging my man in on the weak side or CJ was on the weak side, we would be in position to deflect the shot or even alter the shot. It's just being in the right defensive position. We've been working on our rotations all week."

"It's real now. Every shot counts and every play counts from now on. We have to do the right things like making free throws because they can help or hurt you to lose the game. We just want to continue to get better. I think we started to bond more and get a good feel for each other in game situations. I think we're coming along just fine and we will continue to work."
