Head Coach Brian Gregory

"Mark (Jones) made some big plays today. He got off to a rough start at the beginning of the second half, we took him out and talked to him, and then he said `I'm ready' and we put him back in. He flat-out carried us down the stretch in the second half."

"Monty (Scott) really got us going in the second half, making those first three shots. He played with confidence and was assertive today, but at the same time he was patient and let the shots come to him."

"Chris (Alvarez) gave us a lift today. He was active and guarded Smith well. You're not going to stop a player like him, but Chris made him take tough shots."

"We just can't seem to get it all together at the same time. Today we played good defense, shot the ball well, moved the ball very well, played with great energy and really hit the glass. But we had 20 turnovers. Give them credit in some of that, because they are long and very athletic. And maybe our energy contributed some, because perhaps we tried to do too much. But we had way too many casual turnovers in this game."

"We got back to what we do best - playing with energy. We seemed to get away from that a little bit. But we realized that's what we did when we won. It started in practice. We got back to basics and had two good days of practice. It carried over."

"It was good to see some shots go down. I had been struggling with my shot, but my teammates got me the ball when I was open, so they should get a lot of credit. It's been hard not to try and force things, but I tried to let the game come to me and it paid off today."
