By obtaining 1,806 points in his career, Negele Knight finished seventh all-time on UD's scoring list. The member of UD's Basketball Hall of Fame and All-Century Team holds many records including most assists in a career (663), in a season (216), and in a game (15). Knight was awarded the White-Allen Most Valuable Player Trophy in 1990 after overcoming several injuries for much of his career.
