Matthew Donald Hogan joins the Flyer basketball program as a walk-on for the 2006-07 season. A three-year varsity player for Libertyville High School, he was a two-time Most Valuable Player and two-time Daily Herald All-Area. As a junior, he averaged 14.0 points, 5.1 assists and 3.0 rebounds. As a senior, he posted numbers of 16.1 points, 4.0 assists and 3.1 rebounds, leading his team to a 17-10 record. Libertyville won the regional championship in 2004.
