A gritty, hard-nosed worker on-and-off the court, Dan Fox brings a high level of intensity to the program. A student of the game, Fox has been helpful to the Flyers' overall success in his previous two seasons.
Known as a team-first player, Fox looks to help the Flyers once again and provide depth to the squad.
2008-09
Fox led the team in field goal percentage (1.000). He appeared against Delaware State playing one minute. Dan connected on his only field goal attempt against Bethune-Cookman, and played two minutes versus UNC Greensboro.
2007-08
Fox played in six games, took two shots and went 3-for-4 from the free throw line. Fox also hauled in two offensive rebounds.
2006-07
In his first season at UD he played in three games and scored on the only shot he took, which was against Atlantic 10 opponent Richmond.
High School
Fox was a "blue-collar" starter for two championship teams at Lakeland High School. He played four different positions for the Lakers. During his senior season Fox averaged 5.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.2 steals per a game. He was named All-Northeast Corner Conference and KPC Media Group All-Area. He earned the team's Best Defender Award and was also named academic all-conference. As a junior, he led the team in assists and was named Honorable Mention All-Conference. He also played football, ran cross country and ran track in high school.
