A 6-4 swingman from Campbell Hill , Ill. , Bockhorn played on Flyers teams that went a combined 69-17, won the 1955 University of Kentucky Invitational Tournament and played in three NIT's. A versatile player, Bockhorn scored 941 points, grabbed 708 rebounds and always drew the toughest defensive assignment. Bockhorn, who averaged double figures in all three seasons at Dayton, is a member of UD's All-Century Team, UD's Hall of Fame and went on to a successful NBA career.
