The University of Dayton baseball team has announced the dates for their annual Flyer Baseball Golf Outing and Alumni/Friend/Parent Baseball Activity Day on October 10-11.

The outing will be held at Heatherwoode Golf Club in Springboro, Ohio on Friday, Oct. 10. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. with box lunches available at that time. Tee time is set for 11:30 a.m. and immediately following the outing, Outback Steakhouse will provide a steak and chicken dinner at the clubhouse.

"The weekend is full of passion and camaraderie for the University of Dayton baseball program," UD Head Coach Tony Vittorio said. "All of the proceeds from the events will allow our players dreams to become reality."

The Alumni/Friend/Parent Baseball Activities will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 11 at Time Warner Cable Stadium. Saturday's activities include lunch, a chance to see the 2009 squad, and an opportunity to participate in pre-game infield/outfield and batting practice.

Those interested in participating in the Flyer Baseball weekend should complete the registration form located here. Additionally, those unable to attend may sponsor a hole for $200 with all proceeds going to benefit Flyer baseball in the 2009 season.
