UD returns home for a pair of non-conference games against Miami (Ohio) and Ohio Northern this week. The Flyers will face the RedHawks on Tuesday (3 p.m. ET) and the Polar Bears on Wednesday (4 p.m. ET). Both games can be followed with Gametracker at www.DaytonFlyers.com.

Dayton will look to get back on track after being swept in a three-game series at Xavier to open its Atlantic 10 Conference schedule this past weekend. UD was tied with XU in the eighth inning of all three games before falling to the Musketeers. Last season, the Flyers lost two of three games to La Salle to begin their A-10 schedule before winning a school-record 18 conference games and advancing to the Atlantic 10 Championships.

Frank Tedesco was 4-for-12 against Xavier with a double, home run, stolen base, three RBI and four runs scored. Overall this season, Tedesco has started 18 of the Flyers' 20 games and is batting .271 with a .338 on base percentage.

Cale Ort had the best outing of any Flyer pitcher on the weekend with 5.0 innings of one-run pitching against Xavier. The senior lefthander has tallied a 5.04 ERA this season with eight strikeouts in 25.0 innings pitched.

Dayton returns to Atlantic 10 Conference play this weekend in a three-game series at Saint Joseph's. The Flyers will take on the Hawks on Friday (3 p.m. ET), Saturday (1 p.m. ET) and Sunday (Noon ET) in games that can be followed with Gametracker at www.DaytonFlyers.com. UD returns to Time Warner Cable Stadium next week to begin a five-game homestand with games against Cincinnati and IU-Southeast on Tuesday and Wednesday.
