DAYTON, Ohio - Three Flyers had multi-hit games as Dayton defeated Saint Louis, 5-2 on Senior Day at Time Warner Cable Stadium. With the win, UD (32-22, 18-9 A-10) secured the third seed in the Atlantic 10 Championships and will meet sixth seed George Washington on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Dayton has now won at least 32 games for the second straight season and the fourth time in school history since 2001. The Flyers also finished with a 16-7 record at Time Warner Cable Stadium and have a 34-11 record all-time at the two-year home of UD baseball.

On Saturday, Michael Massa, Bobby Getty and Galen Schumm collected two hits a piece for the Flyers.

Massa was 2-for-5 with a stolen base with two runs scored. The junior has collected 20 stolen bases on year, which is tied for the second most in Flyer history.

Getty finished 2-for-4 with three runs scored while Schumm was 2-for-4 with an RBI double. He now has 23 doubles on the season which is tied for the most in UD history.

Freshman lefthander Quinn Haselhorst improved to 4-3 on the year after surrendering just two runs on seven hits. He struck out two over 6.0 innings pitched.

After classmate Sean Finn pitched a scoreless seventh inning with one strikeout, Craig Rohren took to the mound with a runner on first in the eighth inning. The senior gave up just one hit and one walk over the next 2.0 innings to earn his A-10 leading 10th save of the season.

The Flyers began their scoring in the first after Getty reached with a one out infield single. Schumm followed with a single through the right side of the infield to put runners on the corners and one out. After Chandler walked to load the bases, William Benoit hit an RBI ground ball to the third baseman to plate Getty. The bases remained loaded with just one out after a SLU fielding error, but a fly out and a strikeout ended the UD threat.

Saint Louis got on the board in the third with an RBI double. The Billikens then took the lead in the fifth on an RBI ground ball, but Dayton responded with two runs in the bottom of the fifth to regain the advantage.

After two outs to begin the bottom of the fifth inning, Massa lifted a single to right field. Getty followed with a single through the left side of the infield and UD had runners on the corners. Schumm ripped a double down the right field line to send Getty to third and even the score at 2-2. A fielding error by the shortstop followed on the next at bat and Dayton took a 3-2 lead after five innings.

The Flyers added two more in the seventh on a bases-loaded wild pitch and an infield single by Benoit for a three-run lead. UD then held off the Billikens for the final two innings to earn a 5-2 victory.
