BASEBALL SEASON OPENER POSTPONED TO SATURDAY

Season Preview | Buies Creek Weather BUIES CREEK, NC - The 2008 season opening baseball doubleheader between Dayton and Campbell has been postponed due to rain on Friday. The series has now been reduced to a doubleheader on Saturday at 11 a.m. ET. Friday's weather forecast for Buies Creek, NC called for a high temperature of 44 degrees and a 100 percent chance of rain according to www.weather.com. Rainfall totals are predicted to accumulate to less than a quarter of an inch. Saturday's playing conditions should be much improved with a projected high temperature of 69 degrees and light winds.
