First Team A-10 All-Conference...Baseball America Preseason All-Conference Team...Hit .332 while starting in 55 games at second base...Led the Flyers with 23 doubles and eight home runs...His 23 doubles tied for the most in UD single-season history...Also scored 38 runs and collected 31 RBI...After beginning the season in a 4-for-23 slump, Schumm broke out with a 10-for-20 weekend at High Point with five doubles, six runs scored and four RBI in three games to earn A-10 Player of the Week honors...Had multi-home run games at Richmond and Bowling Green.

2005
First Team A-10 All-Conference...Led the Flyers while ranking eighth in the A-10 in batting average at .354...Also was second on the team with both a .444 on base percentage and a .519 slugging percentage...Had 19 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI performances...Went 3-for-5 with a triple, home run, three RBI and three runs scored at Wright State...Also was 3-for-5 with a homer, two runs scored and two RBI in the second game of a doubleheader at Xavier...Went 1-for-3 with a triple, three runs scored and two RBI in UD's A-10 Tourney win over Duquesne on May 26.

Prior to UD
Was named All-State twice while at Parkway...He moved on to Olney Central Junior College, where he led the team to a 46-15 record. Schumm earned All-Conference and All-Region honors at Olney.

Personal
An art education major, Schumm was born on July 25, 1983...He is the son of Mike and Deb Schumm...He has a brother, Aaron and a sister, Amanda.
