2005...Started 52 of the team's 59 games at catcher including each of the final 36 consecutively. Was third on the team in doubles and threw out 20 of 71 (28.2 %) would be base stealers from behind the plate. Finished with 12 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI performances. Went 2-for-3 with a triple, run scored and four RBI in an 18-0 rout of Oakland. Hit a momentum changing three run homer down the left field line in UD's 8-5 victory over Duquesne in the A-10 Tourney opener. 2004...Was UD's primary catcher as he started 47 of the team's 53 games behind the dish. Hit .203 with four doubles and two home runs to collect 21 RBI and 24 runs scored. Successful in both stolen base attempts and hit one sacrifice fly and put down four sacrifice bunts. Had six multiple base hit games and four with at least two RBI. In the second game of a doubleheader against La Salle, Hepner was 2-for-4 with a home run, five RBI and two runs scored. Was 2-for-5 with a double, three RBI and a run scored against Youngstown State. Had two hits with an RBI and a pair of runs scored against Miami (Ohio). He also had two hits each against A-10 foes Duquesne, Richmond and Saint Joseph's as well as non-conference opponents Miami (Ohio) and Youngstown State. 2003...Started all 45 games in which he played, collecting five doubles and 24 RBI in 147 plate appearances. Defensively, he owned a .969 fielding percentage and threw out 12 runners while also successfully stealing in all three of his attempts last year. Hepner's year was highlighted by a 3-for-6 performance in which he belted out a homerun and seven RBI in UD's 19-14 win over Mississippi Valley State. The RBI total tied the second highest mark in recent school history. Prior to UD...Hepner started behind the plate for Edmonds CC all 2002.
