2005...Named to the A-10 All-Championship Team. Also named to the College Baseball Foundation's National Honor Roll and A-10 Player of the Week on May 16. Was one of six Flyer regulars to hit at least .300 (.313) with the third most RBI (44) and doubles (10) while tying for the team lead in home runs (7). Collected three RBI in the season opener at Wofford. Also drove in three runs each against IPFW, Marshall and Toledo. He hit a pair of home runs in a 13-12 win over the Rockets as part of his three-RBI peformance. He also had two run homers in the final two games of the series against A-10 rival Xavier.

2004...Two-time A-10 Player of the Week (3/22 & 4/19). Led the team and the Atlantic 10 with a .407 batting average while playing all but two games in his first season at Dayton. He collected 66 hits including 21 for extra bases as he pounded out 13 doubles and nine home runs. Led the team and was among the A-10 leaders in RBI (53), on base percentage (.478) and slugging percentage (.654). Had 17 multiple base-hit games including a pair of four-hit performances. Also tallied multiple RBI nine times. Was just a solo homer shy of a rare home run cycle against Toledo as part of a 3-for-5, 9 RBI day. He went 4-for-6 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in a 17-9 win over Kentucky. Godzik also tallied four hits in six at bats with five RBI in a 9-7 win over Middle Tennessee.

Prior to UD...Godzik came to the Flyers after transferring from Wittenberg University. There, he started all 40 games for the Tigers, collecting a .391 batting average, to accompany his team-highs in home runs (9) and RBI (44). At Vandalia-Butler High School, he was a three-sport athlete, competing in golf and basketball in addition to baseball. On the diamond, Godzik captained the Aviators during his senior year and had his efforts rewarded with an All State selection. Also during his senior year, he garnered All Conference accolades in golf, and All Area honors in basketball. In the classroom, he was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal...An education major, Godzik is the son of Miles and Leslie Godzik.
