Recognized on the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll...Appeared in 35 games for the Flyers and started 21...Moved into third place in the UD Career Record book with 25 Hit by Pitches...Hit his lone home run of the season against Miami (Ohio) when he went 2-for-4 with two RBI...Had his first double of the year at Ohio University...Scored six runs and drove in another six in only 68 at bats.

2006
Appeared in 40 games while making 14 starts at first base and nine more at third base for the Flyers...Collected a .313 on base percentage...Hit by pitch 10 times which ranks as the sixth most in UD single-season history...Scored six runs and drove in six more in just 84 at bats...Provided a solid late-inning defensive replacement for Dayton...Went 2-for-2 with a walk, runs scored and an RBI in a 27-17 win of Richmond...Collected three RBI in the 28-7 rout of IPFW.

In his first full collegiate season, DeLuca played in 36 games and started six as a reserve infielder...Although many of his appearances were as a defensive replacement late in the game, DeLuca hit .356 with 15 runs scored and eight RBI...His first RBI of the year came in Dayton's 13-9 extra-inning win over #19 Notre Dame...Hit a three-run pinch-hit homer to cap a comeback from a 14-0 deficit in UD's 21-17 victory over Butler.

2004
Earned a medical redshirt...Played in 11 games, starting five in his first collegiate season...Had a solo homer for his only hit of the year..Scored two runs and drove in pair, including a sacrifice fly.

Prior to UD
DeLuca joined the Flyers out of Lexington Catholic High School in Lexington, KY...There, he hit .450, with 27 RBI and 10 doubles garnering him All-Region and All-City honors...DeLuca also earned Lexington Catholic's "Boy of the Year" award both his junior and senior years, in addition to being a member of the National Honor Society and the recipient of the U.S. Army Student Athlete Award.
