Made 12 appearances and started one game for the Flyers...Hit .308 with three RBI and an on base percentage of .471...Perfect 2-for-2 in A-10 pinch-hit appearances...Castine went 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI in his lone start of the season against Urbana...Also had successful pinch-hit performances against Xavier, George Washington and Findlay...Made his collegiate debut against Campbell and collected his first hit as a Flyer against Xavier at Time Warner Cable Stadium.

A four-year starter and two-year co-captain at Orchard Lake St. Mary's helping his squad to the state championship in 2003...Hit .410 with 34 RBI as a senior in 2006. Castine was awarded 1st team All-State (2006), All-Region (2006), All-District (2003,2004,2005,2006), and Academic All-State (2005, 2006).
