2005...Made five appearances in his rookie season, three as a reliever and two starts. Held a 11.49 ERA and struck out nine batters in 15.2 innings pitched. His collegiate debut came in the season opener Feb. 12 against Wofford as he pitched the final inning of a 13-8 Flyer victory. He threw 3.0 innings of shutout relief with two strikeouts, including his first as a Flyer, in an 18-0 combined shutout of Oakland on March 13 in Nashville, TN. Made his first collegiate start May 11 against Toledo and fanned two batters over five innings as UD went on to win 13-12.
