HILTON HEAD, SC - Following two victories in Hilton Head, SC on Tuesday, the Dayton women's tennis team met its match on Wednesday, dropping a 7-0 decision to Colorado State. It marked the third contest of a four-match stretch in Hilton Head over spring break.
The Rams had little trouble en route to sweeping the Flyers and ending their winning streak. UD freshman Maggie Ernst turned in a strong showing, but fell in the third set at #6 singles 5-7, 6-1, 6-3 to Rui Xu.
Dayton wraps up play in Hilton Head on Thursday against Niagara.
