2007
Recognized on the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll and named to the A-10 Academic All-Conference Team...Voted to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team...Appeared and started in 54 games for the Flyers...Had a nine-game hitting streak that included a 4-for-5 performance with two RBI and a double against New York Tech...Also went 4-for-5 with two RBI and a double against Appalachian State earlier in the season...Had 12 multi-hit games during the season...Ended the season for the Flyers with 52 hits on 199 at bats.
2006
Played in 46 games and started 45 at third base...Hit .281 with 32 RBI and 28 runs scored...Fashioned a .377 slugging percentage on the strength of five doubles, a triple and three home runs...Also laid down nine sacrifice bunts and recorded four sacrifice flies...Led Dayton in a win over Butler in his hometown with a 3-for-3 day that included a double, home run, two runs scored and two RBI...He also went 3-for-6 with four runs scored at IPFW...Collected the game-winning RBI in UD's 2-0 win over George Washington on the opening day of the A-10 Tournament.
2005
Started all 59 games at third base for the Flyers and hit .242 with 42 runs scored and 41 RBI...In UD's 36 wins, he hit .295 with five doubles, seven homers, 37 runs scored and 38 RBI...Had a two multi home run games...Hit a pair of home runs in the second game of a season-opening doubleheader at Wofford as well as two homers in an eight RBI day during an 18-0 win over Oakland...When facing a
freshman reliever who was making his first collegiate
appearance, McSoley hit his first pitch over the left field wall to lead UD to an 8-5 victory over Youngstown State.
2004
Earned a medical redshirt after playing just six games...In limited action, he had six hits (including a double and a home run) in 18 at bats to drive in 6 runs and score four of his own...His best performance of the season came on Feb. 29 as he finished 2-for-3 with a three-run home run and two runs scored against Bowling Green.
2003
Hit .305 with 27 RBI and a team-high 11 doubles...Started 46 games after proving himself in limited time on the field during the Flyers' first six games...Was among team leaders in triples, slugging percentage and runs scored will committing just 10 errors in 171 attempts in the field (.942 fielding percentage).
Prior to UD
He was named an all-city performer for the last three years of his baseball career at Cathedral HS, and also helped lead the Irish to an Indiana State Championship in 2001...During his high school career, the Irish collected more than 100 wins, and McSoley was rewarded for his efforts by being named to the 2002 North-South All-Star squad.

A biology major, McSoley was born on January 24, 1984...He plans to attend Medical School after graduation...He is the son of Tom and Betsy McSoley...He has a brother, Matt and a sister, Sara
