NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Senior track and field student-athlete Rachel Weber has been named the Atlantic 10’s Performer of the Week after breaking the school’s 600 meter record and a first-place finish in the 4x400 relay.
Weber, a senior from Mason, Ohio, set a new school record in the 600-meter dash with a time of 1:37.13 at the Oiler Opener. In addition, Weber also helped the Flyers record a first-place finish in the 4x400 Meter Relay as they posted of 3:56.95.
Dayton will break for the holidays and return with the Doug Raymond Invitational in Kent, Ohio on Jan. 14, 2012.
