<P><B>Jan. 25, 2005</B><P> The University of Dayton will be holding an opportunity for all undergraduate students including athletes (except men's or women's basketball players) to have a chance to win $10,000 in the Atlantic 10 Shootout. There will be shootout events for men's, women's and co-ed teams. <P>The shootouts will begin Wednesday, February 1st in the Frericks Center. The winners of the men's and women's competitions will receive free airfare on US Airways to anywhere in the Continental U.S. <P>The preliminaries of the co-ed competition will directly follow the men's and women's events. Winners will advance to the semifinals and finals that will be held during halftime of the UD men's basketball game February 2nd at UD Arena. <P>The winner of the co-ed events will receive an expense-paid trip to Cincinnati to compete against 11 other A-10 Champions during the Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship for the $10,000 prize. <P>To register, visit the Atlantic 10 web page at <a href="http://atlantic10.org/shootout/">www.atlantic10.org</a>.
