Dayton Flyers

DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton track and field team will compete in the All-Ohio Championship this weekend, April 20-21 in Oxford, Ohio.

The Flyers are coming off of a cold and rainy weekend at the Jesse Owens Classic in Columbus, Ohio. Dayton had seven personal records broken at the Classic weekend, including Katrina Steinhauser’s new personal record and third best height in Dayton pole vault history. Steinhauser placed seventh in the pole vault with a mark of 12-01.50 (3.70m).

The women’s heptathlon opens the meet for the women on Friday at 3 p.m. Events will conclude at approximately 6:30 p.m. with the 10,000 meter run. Saturday’s action kicks off with the remainder of the heptathlon at 10 a.m. and the 4x400 relay will be the final event at 4:20 p.m.
