In the top of the fifth frame, Dayton’s Rachel Archer sparked the Flyer bats. Archer singled to right field, putting runners on the corners for UD. In the next plate appearance, Nacke hit a deep fly ball to right field, sacrificing home freshman Tiffany Ricks. A two-run error during Brandy Brown’s at-bat brought home two runs to tie the score at five apiece.

Wright State scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh after the leadoff hitter Kristi Boreing was walked home.

Jennings hit a bases-empty, two-out blast in the top of the second inning to take a 1-0 lead for the Flyers in game two.

With two outs and runners on the corners in the bottom of the second, Isaacson pitched her way out of a jam as the Jess Gorman grounded out to retire the side.

A base hit up the middle by Kortney Tackett drove home the game-tying run in the bottom of the third inning.

Wright State hit a two-RBI triple in the fourth inning to take a 3-1 lead over Dayton.  The Raiders added two more in the bottom of the sixth, extending their lead to 5-1.
