Dayton Flyers

DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton softball team (13-18) travels to Morehead, Ky. on Wednesday for a doubleheader against the Morehead State Eagles.

Dayton is led by senior Brandy Brown who is hitting .344 with six doubles, one home run and 13 RBI. Sophomore Alysha Isaacson is hitting .333 and has three home runs. Junior Kathleen Maloof and freshman Natalie Mariano are also hitting above .300 for UD.

Freshman Kayla English leads Dayton with a 2.91 ERA and 67 strikeouts in 67.1 innings pitched.

Morehead State is 10-19 this season and is led by Amber Riddle. Riddle is hitting .341 with five doubles and eight home runs. Adrena Anderson is hitting .326 and has three doubles.

Katie Pfost is 3-7 this season but has a 2.28 ERA. She has 60 strikeouts in 80 innings pitched. Jami Whitcomb is 5-4 and a 3.95 ERA.
