CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Dayton Flyers (4-8) dropped a 6-0 decision to the UW Milwaukee Panthers on Sunday, closing out a 10-day road trip in the South.
Joe Gayda was 2-of-3 for UD against Milwaukee. Gayda had his second multi-hit game in as many tries, and is on a three-game hitting streak.
Burny Mitchem had two strikeouts in 1.2 innings pitched. He was dealt the loss in his third start of the season. Mitchem allowed one earned run, and was one of six Flyer pitchers to see action in the game.
