GREENSBORO, Ga. – The Dayton Flyers improved in round two thanks in part to a one-under par 71 from freshman Matt Buse at the dual meet against North Georgia.

Buse finished the meet with scores of 79 and 71 to place third among individuals.

As a team the Flyers shot a 307 in round two and lost the dual meet 624-619 to North Georgia.

He was not the only one who enjoyed a strong second round for UD. Michael Oberschmidt came back from a first round 80 to tally a 76 in round two.

Jeff Hodapp also improved from the first to the second round going from an 83 to a 79. Sean Keating finished third on the team in scoring with rounds of 79 and 81.

After a 79 in round one, Chris Woeste carded an 84 in the second. John Muir improved in round two going from an 83 to an 81.

Brenten Blakeman carded scores of 83 and 82, Mike Griffin improved with scores of 93 and 89 and Zak Hadaway had an 89 and 97 to round out the scoring.
