AUBURN, Ala. - The University of Dayton softball team split its games on the second day of play at the Tiger Invitational. Dayton started the day with a 5-2 win over Austin Peay before falling to host #21 Auburn, 10-2 (5), in the nightcap.
Dayton moves to 4-5 on the season. Austin Peay is 2-5 while Auburn improves to 8-1 overall.
GAME ONE
Dayton 5, Austin Peay 2

Dayton will close out its weekend of play at the Auburn Tiger Invitational with a single game against Villanova Sunday. First pitch between the Flyers and the Wildcats is set for 1 p.m. ET at Jane B. Moore Field.
