AUBURN, Ala. - The University of Dayton softball team split its games on the second day of play at the Tiger Invitational. Dayton started the day with a 5-2 win over Austin Peay before falling to host #21 Auburn, 10-2 (5), in the nightcap.

Dayton moves to 4-5 on the season. Austin Peay is 2-5 while Auburn improves to 8-1 overall.

GAME ONE
Dayton 5, Austin Peay 2
13 - as a team, Dayton tallied 13 hits as five Flyers posted multi-hit games
3 - senior Kaelene Walter recorded three hits, including a RBI-single in the fourth
3 - graduate student Alyssa Cacini collected three RBI

GAME TWO
#21 Auburn 10, Dayton 2 (5 inn.)
3B - senior Quinn Pallardy batted her first career triple, the hit scored the Flyers' first run of the game
H - five different Flyers recorded a hit in the contest
Winning pitcher: M. Penta (5-0), Losing pitcher: Kallie Jones (1-2)
