Hoover and Malott were both named to the A-10 Preseason First Team which is comprised of five players.

Deane was named to the A-10 Preseason Second Team and Austria was named to the five-person Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team.

Following the 2012-13 season, Hoover earned mention of the A-10 First Team and All-Academic Teams, the only sophomore on either roster. She led the Flyers in scoring (12.9 ppg.) which ranked 10th overall in the league. The Bellbrook, Ohio, native was also named the 2012 A-10 Rookie of the Year.

Malott was named Second Team All-Atlantic 10 for her work in 2012-13. She was Dayton's leading rebounder last season (6.6 rpg - 15th in A-10) and second in scoring (10.7 ppg). The Middletown, Ohio, native was the only Flyer named to three all-tournament teams last year: Maggie Dixon Classic, ASU Classic and MVP of Dayton Marriott Classic.

Deane, a 2013 All-Rookie Team selection, was named the 2013 Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year following her freshman campaign. She led the Atlantic 10 in field goal percentage (.556) and averaged 9.9 ppg. for the Flyers. The four-time Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honoree was named MVP of the Maggie Dixon Classic hosted by DePaul.

Austria was named to the 2013 A-10 All-Rookie Team and saw action in every game last season for the Flyers, coming off the bench. One of UD's top defenders, she led the Flyers and ranked sixth in the A-10 with 63 steals while averaging 6.9 ppg. She was named to the All-Tournament Team of Dayton Marriott Classic after registering a career-high seven steals in the Flyers' 68-44 win over Buffalo.

Dayton has earned four consecutive NCAA Tournament berths since 2010. Last year Dayton was ranked as high as No. 11 in both the AP and USA Today Coaches Polls, both program records. The Flyers went 28-3 in 2012-13 and averaged 75.9 ppg, which was first in the A-10 and sixth in NCAA.

The Flyers open exhibition action Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at UD Arena vs. Indianapolis. They open the regular season at Iowa's Hawkeye Classic Nov. 9-10.
