BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The University of Dayton (0-3-0) men’s soccer team fell to No. 18 Indiana (2-0-1), 6-0, in the final match of the adidas/IU Credit Union Classic.
“We made early mistakes against a quality opponent,” Dayton Head Coach Dennis Currier said.
Dayton registered eight shots in the match, including a pair by Abe Keller and Daniel Berko. Sophomore Alec Storm made three saves.
Each of UD’s losses this season have come to teams currently ranked in the NSCAA’s National Top 25.
Jack Pearson and Andres Acevedo were named to the adidas/ IU Credit Union Classic All-Tournament Team.
The Flyers return to the friendly confines of Baujan Field to host the Dayton Marriott Classic on Sept. 9 and 11. Friday’s home opener against Houston Baptist is the team’s Pack the House Night. Admission and parking is free to all University of Dayton men’s soccer home games.
