Jordan Softcheck, Assistant Coach/Wide Receivers

Biography:

Softcheck is entering his first year coaching  for the Flyers. Prior to Dayton, he served as the Wide Receivers Coach and Assistant Recruiting Coordinator at Wingate University, in Wingate, North Carolina. His duties included; Lifta-a-thon Coordinator, Football Liason to University's Student Life and Housing Departments, Recruiting Responsibilities in Northeast & areas in Atlanta, Georgia.

In 2011, under his guidance, the Wingate football team ranked #11 in NCAA Division II for passing offense (30 TD Passes,) as well as landing a WR in the Top 10 for Total Receiving Yards, Yards Per Game and Receptions Per Game, as well as a All-American WR Selection (70+ Catches, 1,000+ Yards.)

Softcheck has also worked many summer footbal camps that include, Hawg Tuff Football Camp, Wingate Offensive Line Academy, FBU Camp, and an Elon Football Camp.

Softcheck studied at Wingate University, and earned his Bachelors of Science in Physical Education. His playing career at Wingate earned him 3 Varsity Letters while he served as a team captian in his 2 years as a starter. Team tied the career and single season record for for victories.
