Head Coach Brian Gregory

"We did a lot better job on the defensive end tonight. We got a lot of good basketball from a lot of different players. We can analyze the film and show guys what we've done well and what we need to work on. I was impressed with the younger guys who got quality minutes. It's definitely going to help us this season."

"You can see his (Marcus Johnson) development. He makes a couple of moves a year ago he wasn't making. He has a way to go. I was pleased with his performance offensively and defensively tonight.

"The thing we have been stressing...the thing we need to keep doing is defending and controlling the glass. We need to execute better on offense. We've got four solid days to get ready for a very big game on Saturday."

"In the four days since we played we took a step forward, especially on the defensive end. We really challenged our guys to tighten things up what we didn't do well against Findlay."

"He (Jimmy Binnie) played primarily at the four spot today. We can swing him. He's playing with great confidence. He's giving us energy out there. He's confident and feeling good about where he's at. That is a good thing. I like that the production that he's giving us in a lot of different ways."

"I feel like we get more out of the film when it comes to teaching and improving, even more so than the game especially when it comes to the development of the team, and that will be so important this year. We'll get more out of analyzing the film than anything. We need to be good at becoming steady."

"He's fine (Charles Little). I thought he played well. His energy was good. To play the way we want to play and to do the things we want to do we have to have a deep bench. It's going to be very important for our team."

Sophomore Kurt Huelsman
"(The exhibition games) gave us a chance to identify our strengths and weaknesses. We still have a long way to go, but we got to see how our hard work in the off-season paid off."

"We have a lot of depth this year. Our young players can score and help us a lot this year, plus a lot of guys who have been there before and are experienced."

"One of our things is to get out and run. We're long and athletic and like to be up-tempo when we can. That's one of the keys to our success."

"Our goal for the regular season is just hope to get better everyday. We've got to practice hard all year. It's a long season and we want to take it one day at a time and just improve day-by-day."
