DAYTON, Ohio – Head Coach Tony Vittorio announced the singing of six student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Tuesday during the early signing period.

“Our needs from the 2012 class have been met by the commitments from these six student-athletes,” Head Coach Tony Vittorio said. “We are extremely excited to have them in our Flyer Baseball Family and are looking forward to working with them in the classroom, community, and on the baseball field throughout the course of their college years. Josh, Clayton, Aaron, Jordan, Nick, and Luke exemplify what a University of Dayton baseball player is about on and off the playing field.”

The Flyers begin the 2012 season in Spartanburg, S.C., in the Wofford/USC Upstate Baseball Classic, facing Ball State on Feb. 17. UD’s 2012 schedule features dates with Ohio State, Kentucky and Wright State.
