DAYTON, OH -  Dayton completed a sweep of defending Atlantic 10 Champion St. Bonaventure with an 8-0 shutout in the second game of a baseball doubleheader Saturday at Time Warner Cable Stadium.

The Flyers (14-6, 2-0 A-10) have now won nine of their last 10 games while the Bonnies fell to 7-5 overall and 0-2 in Atlantic 10 play.

Junior Luke Trubee improved to 5-1 with a complete-game shutout in his first conference start of the season. He surrendered just two base runners in the game, on a pair of hits, while striking out eight and not allowing a walk.
After being held to two hits over the first five innings, UD finished with nine overall including a 3-for-4 game by Bobby Getty.  Getty had a double, stolen base and a run scored in the contest.

William Benoit was a perfect 2-for-2 with a walk and an RBI. He has now hits safely in 17 of 20 games this season.

Craig Rohren was just 1-for-3 but connected on his first home run of the season, a three-run shot in the sixth inning. It was his first home run of the season.

Bryan Chandler also had just one hit, but collected two RBI and scored a run for the Flyers.

UD and SBU will conclude their three-game series Sunday at Time Warner Cable Stadium. The nine-inning game will now begin at 11 a.m.
