DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton Flyers fell in a double-header against the Oakland Grizzlies on Saturday 5-0 and 9-3.

With today's losses the Flyers slide from an even .500 to 6-8 on the season. Dayton still holds a winning record at Time Warner Cable Stadium with a 4-3 record.

Right fielder Aaron Dunsmore finished the double-header with a .333 average at the plate. Dunsmore mustered two hits and was walked once by the Grizzlies.

Chris Beesley and Sean Finn both had starts on Saturday. Beesley had three strikeouts, while walking two batters and allowing four earned runs in six innings pitched. Sean Finn pitched four innings with four strikeouts. Finn walked one while allowing six runs including two home runs.

UD was held scoreless in the first game as OU racked up five runs in the seven inning first game.

The Flyers trailed 5-0 early as Oakland picked up where the left on the first game behind a pair of home runs from the Grizzlies.

Dayton got on the board in the bottom of the second inning on a sacrifice fly by Ryan Nevill.

UD kept the pressure on adding a pair of runs in the third to cut the lead to 5-3. Zach Jacob rocked a home run over the left field wall to score himself and Jimmy Roesinger.

The Grizzlies poured it on adding four insurance markers to win the game 9-3.

Dayton plays cross-valley rival Wright State tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 p.m. at Time Warner Cable Stadium. Tomorrow's pitcher is still to be determined.
