Heather Hogan joined the University of Dayton staff on July 20 as the Assistant Academic Coordinator for Student-Athletes. Hogan will be working with Men's and Women's Cross Country, Men's and Women's Tennis, Men's and Women's Golf, Women's Rowing, and Women's Track & Field. Her responsibilities include coordinating study hall, monitoring academic progress, and teaching a life skills course to incoming student-athletes. Hogan is a 2009 graduate of Springfield College in Springfield, Mass., with a Master's Degree in Psychology, and a concentration in Athletic Counseling. She served as the NCAA Champs/Life Skills Coordinator and Athletic Counseling Graduate Associate at Springfield. During her two years at Springfield, she worked as an athletic counseling intern with several youth, high school, and collegiate athletes, focusing on academic progress and athletic performance. Hogan earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2007 from the University of Maine. She is also a member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics |
