Beth Flach was added to the University of Dayton staff as an Athletic Academic Coordinator on July 19, 2006. Flach came to Dayton from Indiana State University where she served as the Assistant Athletics Academic Coordinator for five years.

Flach serves as the Academic Coordinator for the Flyers men's and women's basketball teams while assisting with the academic needs of all UD student-athletes.

Flach has been a member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics since 2001 and was a committee chair for two years beginning in 2004. She has also active with Big Brothers/Big Sisters for the past five years.

At Indiana State, Flach monitored the academic progress of over 300 student athletes from 15 athletic teams. She was also responsible for coordinating a mentoring program for freshman, transfers and academically at-risk student-athletes as well as organizing all aspects of the school's academic enrichment program. Prior to this role, Flach also served as an Academic Advising Intern where she taught a first year experience course and mentored student athletes from various athletic teams.

Flach also spent time at Central Michigan University from 1999-2000 where she worked in the Athletic Academic Center and as a Graduate Student Administrative Assistant.

Flach graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Capital University where she also played volleyball for three seasons. The Crusaders were Ohio Athletic Conference Champions during her junior season and she was a team captain as a senior.
